My work explores the body, its impermanence, transgression and transformation. I make images and objects that strive to create a primordial sensation. The work’s visceral quality transcends the variety of mediums I use. Forms that explode, merge and often cause one to question whether they are animal, human or something in between. There is an evolution of shapes into body parts, amorphic heads that breathe or shadows in contortion. All connect by means of ink, photo, video or sculpture.
